What actually differs between the 9600 and 9800
Ankles. This is the main change. Innova says the 9800 has patented straps (it cites US 10,105,276 B2) that give "extra comfort for your legs, ankles and feet." It also lists a patented safety harness with FlexStraps, and calls the straps "great for beginners." The 9600 page describes a reversible ankle system and no straps.
True Balance. The 9600 page describes a triple adjustment (headrest pad, height and foot). The 9800 page describes two (headrest pad and height). Innova's pages do not explain why the wording differs, so we do not read more into it.
Pin cover wording. The 9800 page calls the pin cover both "patent pending" and "patented" in different places. Treat that as a loose page, not a spec.
Where the ITX1200 fits
The ITX1200 is Innova's 350 lb table. The trade-off for that rating is fewer angle choices: three pin positions, where the other two have six. It adds adjustable stretch bars, which Innova says give an extended stretch at lower slopes, and a lumbar pad on the backrest. Its height range and warranty are the same.
What none of the three pages say
None of the three pages gives dimensions or folding details, and none lists a price. Innova's general storage page covers folding for its tables, so check your owner's manual for the model you buy. The pages also point to Amazon and Walmart for purchase rather than selling direct.
How to choose
- Pick the ITX9600 if you want the simplest of the three and the straps do not matter to you.
- Pick the ITX9800 if ankle pressure is your main worry and the strap design appeals. Whether it feels better is a personal fit question that a spec sheet cannot answer.
- Pick the ITX1200 if you are between 300 and 350 lb, and accept three angle positions.
- If you want a longer warranty or a different angle control, see Teeter vs Innova.
