About Teeter
Teeter's website describes the company as family-founded and says it has been helping people since 1981. Its story section says the founder, Roger Teeter, started the business after using inversion himself, and that it offers U.S.-based support from its team in the Pacific Northwest. The site shows inversion tables (the FitSpine line is on its home page), along with other fitness equipment.
This is the company's own description. We have not verified it independently.
What to know before you buy
Teeter publishes owner's manuals for its tables on its website. The two we read say not to use its tables if you are over 6 ft 6 in or over 300 lb, to use a spotter for your first sessions, and not to use the table without a licensed physician's approval. Models differ, so check the manual for the specific table you are considering.
Read our safety page before you buy any inversion table.
